The Green Cover Increasing Project
The Green Cover Increasing Project in Tripoli is part of the Local Development Program in Northern Lebanon (UDP_NL) implemented by Deutsche Gesell für Internationale Zusmanarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in partnership with the Ministry of Social Affairs and in cooperation with the University of Al-Balmand and the Municipality of Tripoli, jointly funded by the European Union and Germany.
Through this project, the public green spaces in Tripoli will be strengthened by planting trees. Also, short-term job opportunities will be secured for people who wish to join the project:
. Duration of work: 40 days for each worker in three months.
. Regions: Tripoli and its surrounding areas
. Type of work: different agricultural work.
